  • Pecan Nut Bread

I love how easy this recipe is. I like to make 2-3 mini loaves with this mix. I love to toast it with butter and jam.

    Pre-heat oven to 325’.

    you will need:

    1 beaten egg

    1 cup sugar

1 cup milk ( can be nut milk)

Mix the three ingredients above in a large bowl. Add the dry mix, and stir till smooth. Pour into a buttered loaf pan. Bake for about 45 minutes.

  • Scones (choose, pecan, almond or chocolate chip)

I love scones. I wanted to be able to offer a simple recipe for my friends who are not bakers but want to WOW their friends and family.

    You can do it too!

    What you need:

1 tbsp grated lemon or orange zest (optional) 1/2 cup blueberries or dried cranberries 1 1/4 cup heavy cream

Grease a baking sheet and preheat the oven to 350’. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix.

Transfer the dough onto a clean surface and gently pat and form into a round circle. Should be about 1/4” thick.

Use a knife or a pizza cutter and cut into 8 equal slices.

    Bake 35 - 40 minutes.

If you are having trouble with the dough crumbling, make a ball and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
